New 2DS XL Soft Reset Aid

I made this to make it easier to soft reset Pokemon GBC virtual console games on my New 2DS XL. The reason I use the buttons over the touch screen is because it is a bit faster, and also there is some evidence to suggest that resetting with the touch screen does not change your RNG state which can cause disproportionately long shiny hunts.

These are all designed for the New 2DS XL but there is some compatibility with the New 3DS XL. To press the A button, just press on the top right of the 4 button. I find it best to press on both the top and bottom rather than just 1 point in the middle.

The 2 button one will work with no problems on New 3DS XL. The 3 button does fit over Start/Select/A, but it is not as perfect as it is on the New 2DS XL, I think I just need to make the A button hole deeper. The 4 button I found does not work at all on the New 3DS XL as it will only fit over either Start/Select or A/B but not all 4 at once.

I plan to modify these later to fit the new 3DS XL properly.

Print options I used:

I highly recommend printing in .12mm layer height, as I set the depth of the Start/Select holes to .36mm and the A/B holes to .6mm. Printed on a Bambu Labs X1-C.
