The regular connect 4 is a super fun game … but I (and I believe more people) wanted something more after a while …
I created this version of Connect 4 where you could play the regular rules OR you can play the twisted version.
In the twisted version you play with the disks that have symbols on them …
The rules are mostly the same (each player can make four-in-a-row horizontally, vertically or diagonally) BUT anyone can try to make four-in-a-row using the symbols on the disks as well … this means you can use your opponents disks against him or her … the person to put the fourth equal symbol in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line (no matter the color of the other disks) wins the game.
For example:
below the red player won by playing the "triangular disk" in the second column, thus connecting four disks with the same symbol. Keen observers will notice he would probably have won anyway because he could have played any disk in the middle column and made four-in-a-row with his red disks.

Every part should have an orientation that doesn't need any support. Only the rack part 1 needs some attention. That is why I also made a version with sacrificial support (one layer when printed at 0.2 mm).
I printed mine using regular PLA and regular settings (changed the number of perimeters to 3 instead of 2 for some extra sturdiness)… had no issues.
Wit disks printed with 20% infill the gameplay is nice (disk have some weight to them and make a nice sound when played).
The model can easily be scaled (up or down) the only part that might require some attention are the holes where the screws (or bolts) go … when scaling down they might get too small for regular bolt sizes.
The author hasn't provided the model origin yet.
