Minimalist desk lamp

A complete DIY kit with instructions to build your very own minimalist desk lamp ! 

Designed to face the wall, for a nice ambiant light.

Some of the pieces require supports :

• The switch cutout on the base
• The flat part under the bottom arm

I recommend printing them in 0.2mm layer height for the parts to fit nicely.

Bill of materials

• Switch : Amazon link
• USB C connector : Amazon link
• LED strips : Aliexpress link (haven't found them on Amazon)
• 5V to 12V Boost : Amazon link
• Wires : They must be 1mm or under of diameter !
• USB C cable
• Any 5V USB source

Optionals :

• Rapid wiring connectors : Aliexpress link
• 2.5mm cable zip to manage the cables : Amazon link
• Crimping terminals  : Aliexpress link

Both rapid wiring connectors and crimping terminals are recommended for easy wiring.

Tools required

• Soldering iron and solder wire
• A 3D printer

Futures upgrades

I have plans to do a connected version of this lamp, with an ESP32 that can connect via WIFI.

It will allow it to be controlled by voice input and others cool things !
