For this Project you will need:

  • 2x M5x25 HexScrew(or longer)
  • 2x M5 Nylon Nut (normal nuts work too)
  • some felt or similar textile
  • some glue
  • 2 neodym magnets (max. dimensions: 10x5x5mm) [magnet hole size can be changed on demand, just dm]
  • 5mm drill + cordless drill (use reverse mode of the cordless drill to melt the hole in easily)
  • ca. 90g of filament

Glue in the felt to protect the sunglasses from scratches. glue in the hinge parts. (the hinge parts dont necessarily need glue tho)

Use the “Magnet_Halter” to fixate the magnets. U might wonna design your own simple magnet holder fitting your magnet. (i used round D5 magnets)

You can do your own custom pattern on top by cutting the honeycomb one and adding yours in the slicer.

Happy printing.

Regard,
Michael
