Ender-3 S1 3-Point Bed Carriage 48mm Y Stepper

Update 20240123 : Added V2 revisions of both designs for Ender-3 S1 compatibility (175x170mm).

This new version is retrocompatible with 170x170 beds.

Refer to Gulfcoast Robotics' amazing explanation.

V1 is only compatible with 170x170mm bed carriage (any Ender-3 before S1 generation).

I've added support for 3-point bed leveling to the bed carriage.

I offer two versions of that update :

• the most common version, with compatibility to both 4-point and 3-point bed leveling.
• the “I might as well do it” version, building on the previous version and allowing you to mount 3-point bed leveling from the other side as well.
  • Plate will definetively be heavier. Maybe stiffer too? 🤔

Note that at this stage, I haven't tested any of the published version. Let me know if it needs improvements.

As always, done in Tinkercad so, I can't provide you with step file and such.

I've added support for 3-point bed leveling to the bed carriage and a variant for dual-sided holes.
