This fills a gap in what is provided by manufacturers for attachments for your telescope. This allows you to attach accessaries like the Synta Solar Finder or a camera to your Telrad base.

Printing

Print standing on end with the dovetail mount at the bottom, see the .3mf file for more details

Filament - Light colored PETG , (hot car interiors or direct sunlight if using a solar finder, PETG will give the heat resistance needed for these environments). Otherwise any color you choose. PLA my work if you do not expose your equipment to temps over 90° Fahrenheit or 33° Celsius

Infill - 25% for added rigidity

Layer Height - 20mm-.30mm

Supports - PETG needs lot of support, I like organic

Parimeters - 3, I like plenty of parimeters to give extra strength to the hooks

Additional Parts - Heated threaded inserts make this easier to use.

Bed Adhesion - YES, with PETG you need to use glue stick to ensure good bed adhesion and most importantly, to protect your beds coating

Rafts - None

Scaling - Not recommended

Filament Change - None
