This is the Yeetlance: a shell-ejecting, breech-loading, single-shot, half-length dart blaster. Practical? No. Competitive? No. Fun? Oh absolutely.

Update 2024-01-20 p2:

  • Added missing O-Ring for bolt plug seal to BOM.

Update 2024-01-20:

  • Added Heat Shrink Tubing reference model to CAD file.
  • Added missing parts to BOM:
    • 10-24 (or 10-32) threaded rod
    • 1mm thick Elastic Cord
    • Optional Heat Shrink tubing
  • Added notes for heat shrink tubing and elastic cord.
  • Added CAD file for shell.

Notes:

  • It should be compatible with Flypoint/Kirin shells, but I have been unable to test that.
  • Based off of very rough measurements and testing, it should hit around 120 FPS.
  • I am only including the STEP and FCStd files. No STLs.
    • Print was done with the STEP files and Orca Slicer.
    • FreeCAD's STL export settings are kinda bleh afaik.
  • See the “Yeetlance-BOM.md.txt” file for:
    • Print settings and instructions
    • Hardware list
    • Tools list
    • Assembly notes
  • There is currently no build guide, I am working on one and will eventually have one put together, but for now you can reference the “Yeetlance_ReferenceModel.fcstd” file to figure out how it goes together.

Print Information:

This is what I used to print it with. See the “Yeetlance-BOM.md.txt” for additional settings and notes.

  • Printer: Bambu X1C
  • Slicer: Orca Slicer (v1.7.0)
  • Material: Inland PLA+ (Gray, Orange, Neon Green)
    • Takes approximately 2.2kg of filament.

Licensing Info:

I'm not currently licensing this design for sale or commercial purposes (e.g. Official hardware kits or completed blasters are a nope).
