QIDI X 3 series Beacon rev H probe mount - further improved for stock nozzles

This is the improved new model adding some features but most importantly fitting the newest Beacon Rev H form factor modification.

Additional version for xPlus3. Untested. Use on own risk and please provide feedback. This version is 9.5mm longer in z direction and got some weight saving holes.

Supported probes:
This mount works with Beacon rev H low profile version.


Needed hardware:
2x M3x14 bolts original stock probe mount bolts. Stock probe has 2 bolts, there should be 2 extra that came with printer.
2x M3 melting inserts to secure probe in place. Those didn't come with printer.

2x M3x6 Bolts - came with the Beacon
2x M2.5x12 Bolts - came with printer.

Zipties to secure cable

Print settings:

• Print in some high-temp material preferably fibre enhanced for rigidity!
• 3 Walls with 25% gyroid infill. 
• PAHT-CF is fine.
• I printed in Qiditech ABS-GF25 also very good.
• Good ABS suitable as well.

There is a version with Voronoi pattern. Was a fun experiment and made it light. I didnt't update the geometry. It broke because of  weak spots so don't use it.

The model comes as STL file and is further improved. You want to reach the perfect distance between nozzle and probe plane. This model hits 2.8mm which is perfect.

Oh and remember to print it as light and as rigid as possible. You have a moving mass and want to minimize it. But you also want to have perfect geometry because this thing carries your probe.
