Important: Check out the original model in order to get a proper idea of how to print the top itself either with a parametric approach (check the .3mf files below).
The Ultimate Ball Bearing Mini Top, beigoma style.
Parts and requirements
Top (Bottom and Top part): Infill 100%; “External Perimeters” and “Perimeters” Line Width of 0.21 or less required for the gear to work properly; PLA or PLA+ recommended; print them individually in order to reduce stringing issues;
Launcher: Infill 30-50%, PLA or PETG recommended;
Launcher String: Infill 100%; >3 perimeters required; “External Perimeters” and “Perimeters” Line Width of 0.21 or less required for the gear to work properly (0.16 recommended with 0.25mm nozzle); Nylon, PETG or PLA+ recommended.
Assembly
The top and bottom parts of the Top should snap fit into a standard stakeboard bearing outer ring, if not modify the parametric model and retry.
Snap fit a steel ball from the bearing in the bottom part. Follow the instructions on the original model if necessary.
Insert the Top into the launcher and carefully thread the String by rotating the Top counterclockwise, some sanding maybe required inside the launcher ingress and egress.
Usage
Rip it like it's 2005 inside a concave container or an old ashtray.
It's a mix of the two models, the only thing left unchanged is the launcher from the “Spinning Top”, which was scaled down like all the other models. The Top is from the “Ultimate Mini Spinning Top” but includes the gear design from the other, the launcher string is modified both in size, shape and parts orientation (plus has been parameterized).
