QIDI X-Max 3 / X-Plus 3 camera mount

A camera mount for my QIDI X-Max 3 / X-Plus 3 printers.

Unfortunately the original is currently out of stock.

Other webcams from Logitech had a too narrow FOV or the housing was too big so they can only be placed on the back side (and get a lot of light by that where the video quality suffers).

I thought it has a few downsides and created my own model from scratch that has:

• Camera light protection so that the LED stripe doesnt blind the camera lens (improved video quality)
• Screws on the bottom side, because there is limited space on the top side (and looks nicer for me)
• Protection caps so that the screws dont scratch the metall part of the printer
• Less parts (no nuts, additional screws and washers)
• Different mounting base so the angles etc. are slithgly different (fitted better for me)

What you need:

• 2x M4 x 8mm screws (or longer)
• 1x M3 x 16mm screw (maximum 18mm long)
• Print: 2x_protection_cap.stl
• Print: base.stl
• Print: camera_bracked.stl
• Sunplus Camera (1080p 2.8mm lens) (eg. from here: https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005005708348092.html )

Instructions:

1. Just print in something temperature resistant like ASA/ABS or better.
2. Assemble everything.
3. Mount it on the front right side (like the original camera from qidi).
