UPDATE 2024-05-29: Updated to V2. Added 140mm version and uploaded the source file.
Parts to make a 120mm or 140mm PC cooling fan into a desk fan. A single M6x30 Hex bolt and M6 nut connect the fan to the stand. With an option to embed the nut in a 3D printed wing knob. Additional hardware is required to mount the parts onto the fan. In my case I used 8 M3x10 socket screws and M3 brass threaded inserts that I heated up and pushed into the fan mounting hole, I am not planing to mount this fan on a PC so I didn't care if the mounting holes are a little molten.
Design is inspired by Noctua prototype desk fan and by the video made by Major Hardware.
In my case a 12V fan is powered by DC-DC step up converter connected via a USB-A cable to either a USB charger, power bank or a PC.
