This is a custom model I made up for a Halloween party where I cosplayed as Rip Wheeler. Not wanting to actually make a brand from metal (and fearing that the temptation may arise to actually heat said brand up and do something silly) I elected to model my cosplay prop on my printer.
Printing is straightforward, this object prints best with the tube attached to the “Y” facing upward - no supports necessary. Black PLA worked perfectly. I elected to use the minimum infill necessary to get acceptable bridging - there's nothing structural about this so I was focused more on print speed. Standard infill setting should be acceptable. If you really wanted to get fancy you could use ironing on the top face, but it's probably not necessary.
To complete the look, I literally shoved a ½ inch dowel rod into the tube and spray painted black. No scaling or sanding was necessary for me, but as with all fitment - your mileage may vary. It's probably easier and less time consuming to either lightly sand the dowel rod or add a few pieces of tape than it would be to reprint.
Have fun!
