How do I put all the parts together

Very nice model, fun to play. I have remade the tip of the knfe, so its not that sharp for kids

Hey man, I’ma custom knife maker and have been looking for a pattern to attempt. Is there any way we can chat. My email is [email protected]

I'm new to 3d printing and this was the first print I had to assemble. I've done this one in wood, so I was familiar with how it goes together, although it might not be so straightforward to others. The pin snapped during assembly, so I pushed it out and printed another. (the replacement was black and not red)
As the previous maker pointed out, it is missing smaller pins. I used 1.75mm filament, but it did not quite fill the holes.

Overall, a very nice model and it works quite well. I did this one in PLA and will print it again in PETG.

@CaptMerika_2309626 Awesome work! yes, i designed the small pins to fit 1.75mm filament, and i used a soldering iron to keep it all together! Awesome print! looks great!

Super easy print! Here are a few pointers to help you: You will need to scale everything up, I’m not sure why the model is so small, but I used cura and had to scale the model up by 2538.67%. So when you are scaling it up, just be sure that the thickness of all parts is 4.76mm or 3/16”. To put it together you will need to print the pin, I have added it to the files. You need one pin to hold the blade within the handles. For the other two holes you can use 1.75mm filament.Your best bet will be to superglue the pins and butt piece in place. I didn’t have any on hand, so I used a soldering iron and melted the pieces together.Infill doesn’t matter much, I did 10% but you could make it more depending on what your using this for.
