As I upgraded the xy joints on my 2.4 noticed that there was nothing to trigger the x endstop on these aliexpress lightweight CNC aluminium xy joints. I also upgraded to Vitalii's aluminium tap so this works for the two. Could work for other setups as long as the microswitch is in the same place.
There is a small M2 tapped hole on the part from factory so I made use of that. Designed it for a M2x10mm countersunk screw as that is what I had on hand. I have the lever on my switch but I think it should work for switches with no lever as well.
What you need:
I lengthened the little nub on the side of the part to cover the switch more evenly. The pictures show version before it.
Might take 2-3mm out of the x travel. Haven't mounted the gantry back in the printer so I can't tell right now. I can redesign it with a thinner shoulder and smaller nub, I guess. Let me know if that is the case and I'll see what I can do. Thanks.
