This is a modular case for the SKR2/3/3 EZ 3D printer mainboard. It is designed to not only house the mainboard, but also to hold custom top-mounted boxes. This allows you to make your own mounts for custom electronics (e.g. raspberry pi, exp-mot, relay, etc.)
It is also compatible with some bottom-mounted psu mounts.
Finally, it uses magnets to secure the door shut. This means that you don't have to unscrew and re-screw a bunch of screws to access the mainboard. Follow the directions below for assembly.
First print out the parts that correspond to your needs. Refer to the chart below.
Center.stl | Door.stl | Back.stl | Fan_cover.stl | Screen_holder.stl | SKR2-3 Mount.stl | SKR3 EZ Mount.stl | |
| SKR2 | Yes | Yes | Yes | Print 2 (to sandwich fan | Yes (to hold the lcd on the left side) | Yes | No |
| SKR3 | Yes | Yes | Yes | Print 2 (to sandwich fan | Yes (to hold the lcd on the left side) | Yes | No |
| SKR3 EZ | Yes | Yes | Yes | Print 2 (to sandwich fan | Yes (to hold the lcd on the left side) | No | Yes |
Next, add all of the required hardware (heated inserts, nuts, neodymium magnets) according to the image below.

Then, screw everything together as shown and install the mainboard.

This design is able to connect to top-mounted modular boxes, allowing for connection to raspberry pies, relays, and other extra electronics. To make your own modular boxes, refer to the image bellow.
