I was tired of our glass straws falling over again and again when propping them up in the kitchen so I created this.
I printed them with 0.15mm layer height and 15% infill.
In the slicer, have it stand upright and perform one cut at Z6.1 with connectors, flip the ‘L’ shaped part so the flat side is on the print bed. Then cut this part at Z7.6 also with connectors to line it up properly.
I added a brim to the vertical part to avoid it slipping from the plate. I added a screenshot of how it looks like in my slicer.
After printing use some glue to assemble the parts and start drying your straws in style!
Could also be printed on its ‘back’ without cutting. However, the holes will not be as nice as with the cutting method.
