Assembly Steps:

Needed Parts:

  • You can use any LEDs and glue them into the Stems.
If you want to have dem fading colors you can use these:
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/174484670914
  • For power you can use a 220ohm resistor and a 5V power brick. Or a 5V wired power source (when printing the wired version)
  • or you can use 9V batteries with mini led drivers to make it battery powered
  • For USB C you will need a USB-C PD board set to a voltage your LEDs and resistor is tuned for. Consult https://hellocircuits.com/2013/01/19/simple-led-circuit-with-9v-battery/  (9V)
Any adapter should work, as you glue it into place (in order to make it compatible with more variants of USBC boards)
  • Use the pictures to see where to put the different parts.
  • the stems get glued into the base
  • the mushroom heads clip on top

  1. Print the 6 Mushrooms (2 big 4 small) & All stems (5)

2. Print all Stems

3. glue them corresponding to the image on your Base variant

4. insert LEDs & electronics
you can use this tutorial for wiring:
https://hellocircuits.com/2013/01/19/simple-led-circuit-with-9v-battery/

5. optionally print the bottom cover (only on Battery Base)

6. Clip on the heads

---------------------------------------------

*disclaimer: this model was designed a while ago by me. I modified it here for the contest to make it much easier to print and therefore compleatly replaces the old version, which is no longer availlable :) and added some new features (updates will come). These changes were made during the contest window, I added them here to avoid having duplicate models.
changes include: compleate Voronoi structure overhaul (no more mesh errors), Base overhaul, better instructions, more variants, more images (Basically everything)
