Bobble Head Flash Foot

Do you love 3D Printy's bobbleheads or one of the many models that use his baseplates and springs? Do you lament your inability to mount one of these fantastic bobbleheads to your camera? Well this is the print for you!

OpenSCAD

OpenSCAD is freely available program that turns simple text scripts into models you can load into your slicer.

Design

Created in OpenSCAD using the amazing BOSL2 Library. Customizer controls provided for several design parameters (or you can edit the provided OpenSCAD file).

Dependencies

The BOSL2 library provides a number of tools that make it easier to write effective, clear and concise OpenSCAD code. I can't recommend it enough! The one down side is you will need BOSL2 installed on your system before you can build models from the SCAD source. Luckily, the install is quick and easy.

Printing

I've had success printing in PLA, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, four vertical perimeters, six solid top and bottom layers with 15% gyroid infill. No need for supports but I did use a brim.

Replaced flat base with hot shoe foot.
