PDF

I designed this Skadis lamp to effortlessly brighten my office plants, ensuring easy mounting and assembly.

  • Lamp shade is compaitable with the standard E27 bulb sockets
with a thread of 40mm diameter and 2.5mm pitch
(like this one - I chose the "white 2" model)
  • Skadis mount is 16cm from the skadis board to the lampshade center
  • Clamp / Holder (Optional) - There is also an optional holder for strengthening and fixing the lamp in place

Included F3D file for remixing in Fusion 360, for you to edit shade/mount lengths or any other details. Feel free to customize!

The current version of the skadis mount is really ugly, I'll redesign it in the future

Print Settings

Lamp shade
  • position - with the narrow side on the print bed
  • brim - 10mm width
  • filament - I used esun's PETG, with 10% infill - make sure to use a fillament that would sustain the bulb heat
  • supports - “from buildplate only” and block all other supports above the lampshade hooks.
    • here are some examples:

Skadis mount

  • position - longest side on the bed
  • brim - 6mm width - not a must, I like to set it for long and narrow parts
  • filament - I recommend PETG
  • supports - “everywhere” and you can block the tips to prevent supports inside the lamp hooks holes.
    • here are some examples:

Special thanks!

to Rod for this IKEA Skadis Hooks model for Fusion 360 - I had to reduce the hooks' face-offset by 0.1mm to make it be inserted a bit easier to the board
