I modeled this .50 BMG round after an original technical drawing. It's shape is accurate enough for it to even chamber in a real rifle.
Therefore it makes a great prop for all kinds of cosplays but might also be Interesting for weapon collectors, since you can't really tell much of a difference when they are placed in a magazine or in a rifles chamber.
Another use might be for testing if your striker hits the center of the primer without having to fire a shot or waste a primer on every try.
I designed the model in a way that enables it to be printed on both a multi material printer and one that can only handle one filament at a time. If you print the bullet and the casing as two separate models you just have to stick them together, the friciton fit should make any adhesive unnessecary.
On the other hand the model also looks right if you decide to print just the bullet or just the case.
I'd be happy to see your makes of this model, please let me know what you think of it
Happy printing!
