Arachnid Mod for The 100 3D Printer

The ‘Arachnid’ t100 mod is a gantry and tool head made to decrease weight, and use auxiliary part cooling. The weight of the tool head is between 150-180 grams depending on you bearing/hardware choices, total moving weight is <450 grams. Compatible with the Rapido UHF hotend, and uses a 8mm and a 6mm rod for the X axis. 

This is the most recent in a series of prototypes for this mod I have been working on, and it will not be the final version, this is simply the first version which I feel comfortable sharing. The are a few important considerations and assembly quirks with this build, which I will explain is s YouTube video 

The Gantry is a remix of Matts LW gantry which is a patreon exclusive. I have made a couple of significant changes to the gantry and how it is used, so I have decided to include the files for now, but I am happy to remove them if they seem too close to the paywalled version. 

I decided to go with ‘Arachnid’ as this mods name because the air ducts on the tool head kinda look like a spiders legs, and it sounds cool:)

Tool head is an original design intended for use on the 100 printer, gantry is a modified version of Matts LW Gantry. More info in description.
