EDC Rugged BOX

There are two versions of the box, one with a carrying ring and one without.

All the printable parts files are already correctly orientated for convenient printing in STEP & STL & 3DM files.

    1. EDC BOX BODY
    2. EDC BOX LID
    3. HINGE (with holding ring)
    4. HINGE (without holding ring)
    5. LATCH
    6. HOLDING RING

 The non-printable parts for the (no holding ring) version are:

• For the carrying ring version you will need two more inserts & two M3 40mm Bolts instead of two M3 30mm bolts

In general, I designed this box from scratch in Solidworks, but I had a lot of inspiration from this model so I decided it's appropriate for my box to be a remix.

The closing mechanism moved to the side of the box so that one hinge and one latch are enough. I added space for a carrying ring to the hinge so the box can be carried  around easily.
