We all know how frustrating can be to print something for hours, just to discover it doesn’t fit. Since these kinds of tools have no standard dimensions for the anchoring side, I created this system to decouple the handle from the tool holder. It can be a bit laborious at first, but once you have the dimension of the inserts right, you can swap them fast and easily.
I suggest you start by printing the full set of inserts (should take less than 30 min) and try to fit your tapping tools on them. If they are not right, you can find the Fusion 360 parametric file of the insert. Look at the images I uploaded. You can generate the inserts just by taking 3 measurements and inserting them as parameters.
The handles are available in various dimensions and 2 shapes
