Six months ago, I embarked on the design journey for what has now become this modular saber. Over the course of those months, I've fine-tuned and experimented with various iterations. This saber is intentionally modular, allowing for additional parts and configuration changes. Its assembly isn't bound by a strict protocol, enabling users to creatively configure it in at least three different ways (I'll leave the details for you to discover).
My aversion to glue and disdain for painting have guided my design principles—this saber is meant to be 3D printed and assembled without the need for messy adhesives or elaborate painting. Despite its numerous components, the design ensures a straightforward printing process and an even easier assembly. Plus, in the unfortunate event of breakage, replacing a single piece is preferable to an entire hilt.
Named 'The Master,' this saber draws clear inspiration from a certain Jedi Master's lightsaber. I have plans to release transformation kits in the future, allowing enthusiasts to alter the style with different emitters, activation plates, pommels, and more.
I sincerely hope you all get as much enjoyment from assembling and customizing this saber as I did from designing it!
