An adapter plate for mounting one piece of 4040 aluminum extrusion at a right angle to another piece to the side of the piece. I have a design where I can't just put the second piece vertically on the first piece, so I designed and printed this part for it.

The walls are 5mm thick so it's nice and strong. The holes are 5.3mm designed for M5 bolts with drop in nuts to fit in them easily. The larger hole in the bottom is for if you want to use a tap to thread the inside of the extrusion and put a large bolt in there - not necessary but the option is there. It uses 7 of the drop in M5 nuts which is probably slight overkill, but you definitely need a minimum of 5 of them.
