My heater core sprung a leak the day before a cruise-in and I looped my heater tubes to bypass it. That left the bare heater core tubes sticking out from the firewall and I wanted something a little more visually pleasing than two open pipes since I'd have my hood up on the car. It's possible these will work on other Ford vehicles since so much has been shared all the way back to the Fairmont and up through the 2000s, but I can't confirm anything other than my 87-93 Fox.
The internal geometry is a hex with a final circular hole. They will solidly snap into a final position and have held up for the few weekends they've been on my car. These are a non-functional quick dress up and I figured maybe someone out there might need some too.
