Voron V0.2R1 Front Cowling but now with NeoPixel Logo!

i've been working on this little project for a while now and im at the stage where i'm happy to release it to all you people to enjoy!

it started off with the simple, “well if the trident and the 2.4 have it, why can't we?!”

so i set about to find a way to have just that!

it was quite the challenge and one i have really enjoyed

so i hope you will enjoy using this too!

the main body has a break away support where the logo inserts so this will help in the printing side. lets face it we all dislike using supports! so this way its covered.

the logo body will need to be printed in a transparent material or something similar like a trans or natural material.
there is two parts in the file and each has slightly different tolerances to help with fitment.

the logo mask you can print in any colour or the same as the main body.
this also has two parts in the file as these also have different tolerances to help with fitment.

once you have everything installed and confirmed working then a dab of glue may be needed to hold the logo parts in place.
the parts should be a nice press fit but the glue just makes sure nothing falls out while your printing.

you will need

2 x NeoPixel Sequins (the same ones that is used for the nozzle lighting)

NOTE: you can use just the normal LED Sequins if you so wish, they are the same size and will fit just fine.

some 0.14mm/2 Teflon / PTFE wire is needed to wire up the NeoPixels.

NOTE: When routing the wires, do so from where the NeoPixel Sequin are installed. the routing path has been created to encourage the wires to follow the route without much annoyance.

UPDATE - the channels have been made wider and deeper to accommodate the wires needed for the NeoPixels.

as per the normal rule

please follow the Voron Print Settings

4 Perimeters

5 Top / Bottom layers

40% infill

NOTE: for the TRANSPARENT part you will want 100% infill or the light might do strange stuff and not look very good!

All parts have been prearranged on a V0 bed so simply upload the files into your slicer, slice and print!

i hope you enjoy this mod!

any feedback would be more than welcome

and as always “happy printing!”
