Printable solution for using any flavor of 104mm, 108mm, or 110mm sleeved ear pads on your Hifiman headphones. Unlike other options, this solution is much slimmer, doesn't require supports, and is designed for quick printing. Note that when I say “sleeved”, I'm referring to pads like these ones from ZMF, where there's an inner ring that slides onto a flange to secure the ear pad in place.
Print out the chosen STL twice. Disassemble the headphones by removing the existing ear pads and mounting ring from the headphones, unscrew the 6 screws that fasten the circular plate to the inside of the headphone can. For the right side, (roughly) line up the “R” symbol on the large flange of one of the printed STLs with the jack on the bottom of the can, then screw it in place. Similarly for the left, (roughly) line up the “L” symbol with the jack, and screw everything in place. Note that symbols don't exactly line up with the jacks, it's more of a general guide. You'll be able to feel when they click into place, and can't really rotate any more.
Ear pads can be installed like so.
Tested with ZMF Ori pads on my Hifiman Sundara headphones, but mixing and matching should be fine.
Adapter shown in pictures is an older revision without the “R" and “L” symbols added to it, but is functionally identical.
