Most of my Lego sets sit on higher shelves but I still wanted to be able to see the plates, so I made a very basic, quick print angle adapter to be able to still see the plates at eye level or above.
In order to not obscure the view of the minifigs, I used 1 x 2 x 16 bricks to elevate the minifigs behind the plate. I've also had luck printing the stand offs from here https://flwe.nl/ppBricks/, though fit with the base can vary. I printed the bricks with a brim and left a tiny bit of the brim on the bricks for a good press fit with the base.
Short side goes to the plate, long side sits on the base. I superglued the adapter to the plate but did not superglue to the base just in case I ever need to change. Nothing special on print settings.
All props go to @MronzyHipis for his amazingly awesome stands which can be found here: https://www.printables.com/model/267597-modular-display-stand-for-lego-star-wars-marvel-dc/comments
