I was having a lot of issues with audio microstutters over Bluetooth with the Apple TV 4K Ethernet and read comments from various people that said when they wall mounted the issues went away. I was skeptical and didn't really have a place to nicely wall mount it but after testing it just sitting vertically I was amazed that it did actually get rid of my issue. It must just be the orientation of the Bluetooth antenne or something.
So I wanted a simple stand to prop up the Apple TV and keep the cables in order. It is a very basic stand and the Apple TV is really just held in place by the cables pulling it towards the top of the stand.
There is a small loop on the base to accept a 10mm velcro strap or ziptie to keep the power, HDMI and Ethernet cables together and help them keep the unit pulled towards the stand. A more secure mount would require a bulkier stand and I didn't want that.
I'd suggest some rubber dimples stuck to the bottom to stop the stand moving around but otherwise I haven't had any issues with it staying put and I'm happy with how it looks and functions.
The included STEP file also includes the model I made of the Apple TV 4K Ethernet to base the stand on if you want to use it for other things or make alternative stands.
