Motion Activated Water Sprayer (for pets)

This is a motion activated water spray bottle that I made to stop my cat from jumping on the counter when I am not around.

I originally made this without the voltage booster but found the motor to be a little lacking as the PIR sensor is only pushing a 3 volt signal to the motor driver instead of the max of 5 volts. To fix this I added the voltage booster and set it to 6 volts and just have it free floating with some heat shrink around it (not shown in the pictures). An Arduino could also be added for some extra customization in the timings, but I was happy with how it turned out without it.

I also added a backplate with a cutout for installing a switch. This is optional but if you want to add it, the best place is probably in between the motor and voltage booster.

The anti-rotation cap gets super glued to the top of the spray bottle. This is to stop the sprayer from rotating and spraying inside the frame.
