This is an out of scale model of a wind turbine.

It is very fun to print and to assembly.

Print instructions:

-It was made to be printed with a 0.4mm nozzle with a 0.2mm layer height.

-The Blades can be printed on vase mode but you need to set to 11 bottom layers (with a 0.2mm layer height). I used minimum layer time of 5 seconds and minimum speed of 8mm/s and made a flawless blade. Too slow or too fast can make the tip not as good as it can be.

-Mind the adhesion for the blades and the tower.

-Print 3 BLADES and one piece of each other file.

-10% gyroid infill recommended

-2 walls minumum

-The AXYS has two versions: FULL and CUT HALF. The CUT HALF will grant You a stronger axys, if you need.

Assembly instructions:

-The 3 BLADES need to be glued on the HUB piece on the designated positions. Mind the position of the blades so it will be more aesthetic.

-After all the parts are printed and the BLADES are firmly glued to the HUB, follow this sequence:

  1. Fit the TOWER on the BASE and tighten the BASE BOLT (mind the orientation, the hole and the guides are not centered);
  2. Tighten the AXYS on the hole of the HUB;
  3. Fit the AXYS on the front hole of the NACELLE piece (until the end) and hold with your hand;
  4. Fit the hole at the bottom of the NACELLE piece at the tower.

The TOWER piece locks the AXYS for it to don't fall so easy. Check the pictures to guidance.

The AXYS will also work as a screwdriver to assembly or disassembly the BASE BOLT.

The final result shall have around 35cm from the base to the highest tip of blade.

Have fun!

It is my first model and I hope You all enjoy!

[EDIT Jan 1st 2024: At the 3d drawing the blades were turned back. Adjusted and now the 3d drawing is correct, as the photo. The turbine rotates clockwise (to the observer facing the Hub). It is all right now.]
