Ikea Hemnes Daybed Shelf

A simple shelf for sliding or clipping onto a rail of Ikea Hemnes daybed. Make it shorter or longer by scaling up/down the longer axis. Or print multiples and slide them together. 

Included Step file has both parts (shelf and lip) if you wan to modify width dimensions or attachment.  Currently scaled to ~225mm long (printer max) by 140mm wide. Assymetric attachment to allow slightly more overhang (specific to my use case.) 

Printed in PLA, though PETG may be preferable. 40% infill with 4 perimeters.

The version with a segmented lip should print on most printers without supports as overhangs are limited to approx 1cm. The solid lip version required printing in vertical orientation with brim to avoid collapsing overhanges.

Plenty sturdy for most any combination of beverages and books you throw at it.
