This is just the model for the “Reader/JukeBox”… There are a lot of code-changes and additions from the original reader. I use Home Assistant to execute things in the background. :)
There are multiple versions in the pictures… And I was still missing the “USB-C to power PCB” to be able to use a USB-C cable coming out from the back instead of the micro-USB coming out from the side as you see in the pictures…
To get the different colors, I'm just adding two filament changes in the print. Very simple. It's designed so you can “brand” the player in three places. :)
Let me know if you want more information…
Parts used:
The small screen (with buttons)
Labels 80mm x 50mm (for the NFC-Card)
Not happy with these, I'm probably going to switch to paper instead of fabric. The powder from the laser printer is not sticking enough…
I have also tried the paper labels and they are a bit bigger (83,8mm x 50,8mm) and works. But they also suffer from powder losness. However these sheets of labels are harder to print because the labels are fitted with no space in between them, so it easily “bleeds” over to the label next.
WS2812 LED
But any WS2812 can be used... :)
Beeper (5v)
I had another type laying around... :)
The display (ESP32) and ESP866 are both running ESPHome (independently) on the Wifi (the USB-cable is only for power).
So, basically you can use the Display to do anything. :)

The author remixed this model.
Basically a complete redesign, just used the inspiration and measurements from the models. :)
