Description
PDFWe have had loads of bike helmets hanging around that need a home: this was designed to get them out of the way.
The helmet mount holds the helmet and has a bit of space for lights, repair kits or other small things that you might want to keep with the helmet.
Designed in OpenScad, the latest version has alterations to the holes, making them teardrop-shaped to reduce overhangs.

Fitting & Mounting
I mounted the brackets on an oak plank, each has three countersunk screw holes.
The oak plank was left after another project, it has a strip of ash set into it to match with a set of coat hooks to the left. I would rather have used ash for the whole thing but I didn't have enough. The ash strip is the same width as the board for the coathooks and is at the same height; they don't match but they do at least coordinate.You might be able to mount these directly on the wall but I didn't try it.
