Petzl Quark Trigrest

This is a replacement for the original Petzl Quark trigrest which has broken.

It is a first iteration and I already can see the part should be a little wider inside. If you want to fix it - there is a fusion 360 model attached. Just let me know in the comments so I can link you back. I am going to fix it later but since there is ongoing winter in my hemisphere, I want to make it available as soon as possible.

Apparently there is not too many climbers with 3D printers so I will be grateful for feedback and pictures of your own makes based on this project.

Customize

In .3mf file there is an embossed text “Petzl Quark” around the trigrest - put whatever you want there (e.g. your name), it is easily customizable with Prusa Slicer. You also have Fusion360 (.f3d) model if you prefer another way of customizing it.

Material

Print it from PETG, do not use PLA because it is not flex and strong enough - I know it from my own experience - I made it PLA and it broke during the first hard climb.

Add some extra perimeters for durability.

It is not an original part and it is your responsibility to make it safe for climbing. I am delivering a model only but it is you who are responsible making it properly strong and safe.
