Dovetail Marking Set - Shallow and Extended Stock

UPDATED 1/7/2024 - Extended variants and case added for those who want a longer stock to mark both the end grain and face with one tool. Marks end grain up to 1 inch thick. 

These are no frills, easy to use guides for marking your tails. Four of the most used sizes for hand cut dovetails are here.

These models feature:

• Ergonomic Design - Easy to firmly grab top tab and hold it to the work piece on the bench top or in a vice. The extra “chunkiness” of these models allow you to bump up the infill to give it more weight and a better feel.
• Same Profile on Each Side - I don't like gauges with two different slopes on each side. Too easy to make a mistake.
• Easily Identifiable - Large markings on the top and front of each guide.
• Holding Case - Keep the set in a handy case. Everyone loves a case!

Print Instructions:

Print the gauges with the large print facing down on the build plate for FDM printers. Case can be printed as is. Flexible materials not recommended.

Extended variants of the markers will only fit in the extended case. Normal markers will fit in either case.
