I needed a simple design to lift my pots out of the tray so I could create self-watering planters for my spring planting. Since I had all the parts but the Capillary mat for a few dollars I was able to make a much more durable system than the store-bought ones that I can use for years. Hope someone else enjoys it too and please share any feedback!

What you need for the project:

-1010 or 1020 Tray https://www.amazon.com/1020-Plant-Trays-without-holes/dp/B015RLLQ04/

-Seed cells or any Peat Pots https://www.amazon.com/Seedling-Starter-Trays-720-Cells/dp/B00BRQ3QWK

-Capillary Mat (Felt) https://www.amazon.com/Aquaponic-Lynx-Automatic-Watering-Capillary/dp/B08W3YGG6Q
