A popular laundry dryer as bought at Castorama Poland always had a flaw in its ABS rod endings which are failing after a few years from sun degradation. To my surprise I couldn't find it at pritntables.com so here I bring you a replacement for it.
For your convenience I am attaching Fusion 360 parametrized file so you may find it useful for other purposes just by tuning its dimensions and exporting to slicer.
For slicing I used Prusa Slicer, with following parameters:
My approach was to print a few tests with PLA using 0.3mm layer height just to find out the best size. For my rods it was:
A white PETG (remember sun degradation) should be the best. PLA is too brittle.
You may need a deburring tool to create an internal chamfer - the ending prepared this way will snug better onto the rod.
