Some time ago I purchased a Japanese knife which was sharpened at a way smaller angle than 15° that my Horl sharpener uses.
So for years I've been using a cutting board to put under my angle tool to decrease my angle.
According to Horl you can decrease the angle approximately 1° per 1,5mm.
Since I recently purchased my first 3D printer I decided to print something nice-looking instead of the ugly-old-woblly-non-persistent cutting-board.
It took me some iterations to get the angle somewhat similar to how it is with the cutting board.
However I decided that most people don't want my weird 8,3° so I also created two more versions with 12,5° and 10° (please note that this is really just an approad to the “real” angles. I just couldnt get it better without wasting more filament on more prototypes).
Have fun printing. PLA works just fine and you dont need any special settings.
