This model will fit the Raspberry Pi model Zero W and WH versions. I do not have a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W, but is should also fit that version.

The first thing I did was remove the top, and fashion an adapter to glue in to the top so it would fit the main body, but that took a lot of extra time and filament. On this version, I added four pins to locate the top correctly, and now once the print finishes, the top can just be placed on with no additional post processing. On the original, I had problems with my hefty USB cable plugging in properly, so I used a Dremel to make it fit. That issue has been corrected in my remix, and now there is plenty of room for the cables to plug in to the power and USB ports securely.

The last thing I did was to make a spacer to fit between the Raspberry Pi and the case so no standoffs are needed to secure the board. The spacer is one piece and makes fastening the tiny 2.5 mm bolts and nuts much easier.

There are two versions of the case and top. The originals and copies with what I call “brimpads” which add extra adhesion without needing to add brims when slicing the models. These can simply be clipped off when the print is done and doesn't require much trimming.

If your printer doesn't have adhesion issues, you don't need the “brimpad” versions. The top has its own support built in, that also helps with adhesion. The support does not have to be removed, but can be, although you may need a Dremel or similar tool to do so.

I printed this using Matter Hackers MH Build Series Blue PLA and Clear PETG filament. My prints still need some work as I haven't had time to really dial in the settings on my Sovol SV06. If any of you are using the SV06, I would welcome your input with suggestions as I have had a really hard time getting consistently good prints. It has been rather hit and miss….

The settings I used are:

Layer height: .2mm
Perimeters: 3
Extruder Temp: PLA-200, PETG-230
Bed Temp: PLA-60, PETG-85
Infill 5%
Supports: no
Adhesion: none
I lowered the Extruder temperature to 195(PLA) to get better detail for the light on the top of the Tardis.

I would love to see your builds, and any remixes or modifications you may come up with.

Raspberry Pi Zero W TARDIS Case

Differences of the remix compared to the original

This is a remix of Scotty-G's really nice case for the Raspberry Pi Zero. His version looks really cool, but the top is part of the body which makes it nearly impossible to mount the Raspberry Pi with four bolts.  I took his design and sliced the top off.
