Turntable for Toy Trains

Intro

There is no turntable available from brands like Lego or Matel for the Duplo sized trains… I designed one myself using FreeCAD. My Ender 3 S1 isn't capable to print the base plate in one piece - therefore I split it into 6 segments: 

1. one segments with the axis and the turning tool
2. five equal segments with connecting elements to the regular tracks.

Printing

• I printed all parts separately - total print time: estm. 42h 
• Top Cover was printed up-side-down
• Supportes on base-plate are necessary for:
  • Plate with Track
  • Hande
  • TurnTable
• Supports on part are only required for:
  • Plate with Axis
• Plate with Tracks is required 5 times!

Assembly

• Remove all supports & cleanup the parts
• test fit everything!
• glue all base plates together
• insert Gear B in gearbox (slides under the bar)
• insert Gear T on the axis in gearbox
• put (glue) Top Cover onto the plate (Axis will fit into Gear B bed on plate)
• glue handle on Gear T Axis
• insert turntable
• finished…

Final words…

This is my first rather complex assembly in FreeCAD… There are definitely some topics to improve - put this version made it as a birthday present for my nephew ;-)
