This is my first “major” project with my printer and I love how it is turning out… still a work in progress but I'm loving it so far.
I wanted to entirely 3D print every part of my Lack Rack (because I'm crazy) so I combined these two projects to make it happen.
I also combined the 1U rails from the Prack-Rack and made 4U rails instead so that I would need 4 per table face. This may come back to bite me later in case I ever have to replace a rail from frequent mounting/unmounting but I'm pretty confident with the way I want to set things up so hopefully that won't happen very often.
You need four (4) of these supports for a lack rack, just be sure to flip two of them upside down when you install them.
I printed them with PolyMaker PETG at 70% infill with supports oriented like they would be installed… I tried printing them in other orientations but just ended up with a giant support mess each time. If someone else figures it out to make the layers go the other way PLEASE tell me :)
A few of the photos are from mid testing and production, so they're not complete but you get the general idea, I hope.
The author remixed this model.
This is a combination of two projects:
The Prack-Rack by @GeorgeRaven_8395
and
IKEA Lack Rack Pro by @hecristi_226356
The idea was to not waste the space where the two Lack Rack table legs join and continue the mounting rails all the way down.
