Since HighTowerArmory had to ammend the design of the P90 to fit the 10/22, the slit on the stock is not identical to the original P90. Due to the cross-bolt safety, the harness-mount would not fit either, as it obstructs the safety.
So I redesigned the QD-mount which is supposed to go with an airsoft-P90 to fit the HTA90/22.
I printed and tested it both in PETG and PC-CF. I would not try PLA as it might crack. ABS or nylon might be ultimate solution, but I never got around to try these…
With appropiate lengths of mills one could even mill this out of aluminium…
Included are two versions.
One with two mounting-positions for left and right. That is the version I am using, as it makes the weapon lie flat to the body when not held and supported only by the harness.
The second version has all three mounting-positions from the original airsoft-design. However I feel the third hole has lesser strength and fitting-tolerances. Pro-argument is that the weapon can be used both-handed when the QD is mounted to the center. Con-argument is that it won't lie naturally flat onto the body.
I decided that I'll use the 2-hole version, since I won't be using the central mount, and having a hole there just leave a possibility from something to snag.
In the end, it's up to the user's discretion on which version to choose.
High Tower Armory has authorised me to publish my own design in relation to their product, so everyone can profit from it.
For print orientation, the threads should stay vertical along the z-axis on the printbed.
Mind your own printer's tolerances: The threads are modeled to accept crews as-is, but a clean-up with a thread-cutter might be in order.
To add strenght, I used 5 perimeters with 50% gyroid infill, while using 0,2mm quality profile with reduced speeds.
For installation, two inhex-bolts with thread M4, without shaft (meaning thread goes all the way, no smooth parts) and a length of 40mm are required.
If you need something changed, feel free to ammend on your own, which is why I also included the necessary scetches including screenshots of their orientation. Or just give me a shout, it might be able to accomodate your wishes.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
