Designed to hold any phone both vertically or horizontally, this desktop planter also enhances the sounds coming from the phone speaker by leveraging the properties of the Fibonacci spiral.
Sound enhancement works particularly well with a phone whose speaker is located on the bottom, such as the iPhone. The sound enhancement is noticeable but not overwhelming acting more as a focusing of sound concentrating it better into a specific direction... toward a person sitting at their desk. Thus allowing one to turn down the phone and listen to a podcast without bothering others nearby.
If printed and glued with epoxy it still may not be waterproof like a fish bowl but will hold Orbeez moisture balls without a leak which allows one to keep a desktop plant, while the balls provide additional weight and therefore phone stand stability and better sound performance.
When printed with transparent filament the Orbeez colors shine through the phone stand in an attractive way.

Fusion 360
To create the spiral I used the Fusion 360 add-on for importing a csv file, specifying the spiral points using the graphing function in Open Office to graph the spiral. So it is a true Fibonacci spiral, not an estimate or a guess.rnrnFeel free to remix with the Fusion 360 file:rnhttps://a360.co/2FUbXVg
