GoPro Hero7 Lens Case (w/ ND Filters)

I carry two extra lenses with my GoPro Hero7 Black, each with different strength ND filters (Camera Butter glass ND filters to be exact). I wanted a simple solution to hold them. This case has four embedded magnets (two each in the top and bottom) that hold it together firmly. I used 2mmx6mm magnets from Amazon and they are a tight fit - I used superglue to hold them in as well but it's completely unnecessary as you really have to press them in. The gcode includes two color changes in order to embed the magnets.

The text on mine came out pretty good but you can easily remove it if you prefer a simpler aesthetic.

The fit is perfect on this so if you don't use ND filters, you will need to bring up the lens recesses 1mm or so.

I printed mine in Galaxy Black Prusament PLA at a 0.1mm layer height. The .3mf and gcode files include some modifiers around the hinges that slow the speeds down a lot to ensure precision.

.stl models are done at x10 scale so set the scale to “10” instead of “100” when slicing.
