One of the coolest things you could ever put in an aquarium Floating plants. They are great for your little ecosystem and creating shade for shy fish, but they have a drawback they grow insanely fast with some species able to duble its biomass in only 1 day.

If you have ever had floating plants in your aquarium you know that after about a week you can no longer see into the top of your tank. This is bad not only to your veiwing pleasure but also can be detrimental to plants being shaded out by the floaters, and it can also make feeding the fish or shrimp underneath hard.

The Idea is not original and had been done using various methods and its main puropse is to let the floaters grow how they want but leave open space on the surface for feeding and light to pass through. All the methods ive seen for making one involved supplies that I do not have so I just 3d printed one. The final product takes just under 1 hour to print at 50mm/sec and 0.3mm layers.

The model was created in F360 and it was made and exported in inches, most slicers by default import models in milimeters so scaling is nessasary sorry for the inconvinence. The original size is 5.5 inches and to get it to that size you need to scale it to 2540% making it smaller is also a posibility depending on the size of your tank and the look you are going for.

If you have any segestions to make it better please tell me or upload a remix.
