NIC bracket for HP 546SFP+/Connectx-3 in m720q

Intro

Designed to be printed face down.  Holes included for airflow.  Sturdy connections to card and case provided to ensure minimal risk of breaking during installation.  No modifications to case required.

Post-Processing

Requires 3x M3x3mm brass heatset inserts: two (2) to mount bracket to the card and one (1) to connect the bracket to the case.  The holes for the inserts are intentionally a tight fight to ensure good bonding with the bracket.  The inserts that connect the bracket to the card should be inserted from the underside.  The insert that connect the bracket to the side of the case should be inserted from the outside of the bracket.  This ensures excess printed material will not impede the insertion of the screw.

Model updated to:

• Include channels for LED lights on the card.  After printing, I filled the ends of the channels with hot glue to diffuse the light.  It works ok.  Another medium - or a hot glue gun with a finer tip - would likely work better.
• Optimize size and position of ventilation holes.
• Optimize dimensions of face-plate for better fit with case body.
• Simply f3d file for easier editing.
