Biltema ST56 snow blower chute. It seems to be a whitelabel product from china so should fit a lot of other brands.

The replacement chute that is of really poor quality and thin plastic costs around $60 so this is definitely cheaper.

It is missing the metal bar security thingy so it's your own fault if you get a sudden drop in finger/hand density.

(Over) reinforced the weak parts of the original plastic chute, added a screw and slot in M4 nut for tightening rotational resistance.

Printing

0.35mm layer height will work if you prioritize speed.
Supports are needed.

On the mk3s+: start out with 100% speed, can be increased to at least 250% after the first layers has been printed.

3MF files included if you wish to print it as i printed it on my mk3s+.

Hardware needed:

  • Bolts (a bit longer bolt's will usually work):
    • 6xM6/50mm
    • 6xM6/35mm
    • 1xM4/15mm (or longer)
  • Nuts:
    • 2-4xM6
    • 1xM4

Assembly

  • The 2 bottom parts (1.1, 1.2) should be screwed together using 4x M6/50mm+ bolts & nuts. You may need to remove the latching metal clip on the snow blower and cut of the holder for it with a knife.
  • 1.2 and 2 should be bolted together.
  • 2, 3 and 4 should be super glued together.
  • Insert M4 nut into slot in the inside of 1.1 and add M4 screw from the top.
  • Super glue and bolt on handle and nozzle using M6 bolts.

Since we're threading into plastic adding superglue to the threads is recommended.

Tips

  • Avoid printing the models standing up if possible. Snow might get trapped more easily in between the layers and accumulate.
  • Add something water repellent like RainX etc to the inside for less clogs.

And if it fits your snow blower that's not a Biltema ST56, please leave a comment!
