Simple iPhone and Apple Watch stand that holds both the MagSafe charger for any iPhone 12 and the standard Apple Watch charger. Both stands are tilted 15 Degrees backwards which allows routing the cable inside while still achieving a relatively slim design.
Both chargers should snap in place and should sit tightly enough so that no sticky tape or other measures should be required. Both cables can be routed inside the stand so that none are visible from the front – both tunnels inside the stand are large enough to allow putting a USB-A plug through them.
The stand has small openings on the back and both the right and left side with cable routing at the bottom so that you can route the cables as you like.
The bottom surface applies a slight slope for some more stability and because I like the look of the layer lines. Of course, you could minimise them by reducing the layer height.
The stand can usually be printed without support. I achieved good results with 0.15 mm layer height and the slightly rough AddNorth Textura PLA that you can see in my printing results.
The standard model has no opening to push out the charges from the backside – to get them out again, you will probably need to snap the stand in half. I don't mind because I like the clean backside.
However, the alternative version includes small holes in the openings that allow pushing out both chargers with a paper clip or something similar.
I am using this model on a nightstand and fixed it with some sticky tape. I would recommend doing so on every location or surface as the stand is way too light to remain in position otherwise.
After some feedback regarding more recent Apple Watch chargers with increased charging power and thicker cables, the original cable routing got a bit tight. So, here we go:
